Yes, after a million attempts of logging in to my personal blog in WordPress, I finally gave up. Let’s just make a new one, then. This blog will be more family-oriented and filled with our struggle in securing, not one, but two PhD positions. Well, it’s Sunday and we (me and my husband) are packed up. We just sent an application to the University of Gothenburg. After having a deep talk, we realized that this PhD thing is an uneasy path to go through. But, Allah has a plan and He’s the most gracious.
What about me? I sent one around two weeks ago. The more we try to find information about how to get accepted, the more we feel like this whole thing is impossible for us. With our background and competence, we don’t think we deserve to get the position. However, we still keep going even with this mission impossible.
